The story behind this print
Bint Jbeil · Balcony
This Bint Jbeil balcony version was created for a woman from Bint Jbeil who longed to see her village again, to look once more toward the mountainside and the city that shaped her heart. Known as one of Lebanon’s most resilient towns, Bint Jbeil carried generations of pride, family roots, and steadfast people who stood tall through every season. Today, much of what once stood has been nearly erased, and many of the scenes held in memory are now gone. This piece preserves that lost view forever, a balcony of longing, dignity, and the homeland still living inside those who love it.
