The story behind this print
Al Janoub
Al Janoub - South - is more than a direction. It is identity, memory, and the feeling of land that lives inside you. This art print was inspired by a photograph taken at Lebanon’s southernmost edge, where Palestine stood behind the photographer, Zaynab Khalil, and South Lebanon opened before her. From that vantage point, the eye reaches across the Naqoura and Bayyada coastline, where sandy shores meet dramatic rock formations, and the waters stretch toward parts of Sour. It is one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, carrying both beauty and history in the same breath. This piece was created to honor the South as a place of pride, sacrifice, tenderness, and unmatched natural wonder.
