The story behind this print
Housh Al Ghanam
Some of the most meaningful places are not famous landmarks. They are the views we grew up with, the ones we could see simply by stepping into our backyard.
This artwork began with Rached and a memory of his family home in Housh Al Ghanam, a small village in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley.
From the backyard, the landscape opens beyond the trees, stretching across the Beqaa Valley toward Jabal Al Sheikh. It is a view filled with space, stillness, and the kind of peace that becomes part of how we remember home.
Rached wanted to preserve that feeling. Not only the scenery, but what it meant to stand there, surrounded by the familiar beauty of his family's land.
He ordered two prints: one for his home and another for his office.
What makes this piece especially meaningful to Maraseel is that Rached was the first person to request a custom village print. His request helped inspire what would become an entire offering, giving others the opportunity to preserve the places and memories that matter most to them.
What began in one family's backyard became an invitation for many others to bring a piece of home into their own spaces.
