The story behind this print
Bint Jbeil · Souk
This art print honors Souk Al Khamees in Bint Jbeil, the famous Thursday market where people from nearby villages and towns would gather. More than a market, it was a center of life, where families shopped, voices met, friendships renewed, and the South moved together through trade and tradition. Bint Jbeil was home not only to its own people but to everyone around it, a town known for leadership, generosity, and presence. This piece preserves the glory of a city whose streets once welcomed all and whose name still carries weight far beyond its borders. Original photo credit to BintJbeil.org re-imagined by Maraseel.
