The Story Behind This Print

"This photo is of Qamou El Hermel, also known as the Pyramid of Hermel.
It's one of the images that means a lot to me," shared Rawad Mansour, the original photographer who inspired this print.
He added:
"Usually, before I take a photo, I like to study the place I'm going to, even if just a little.
And as you can see here, in the background, there's an old photo. The original version is preserved in the Library of Congress.
And of course, behind it is Qamou El Hermel, one of the few landmarks in Lebanon whose history is still not very well known."
At Maraseel, we took Rawad's vision, transformed it into a watercolor digital artwork, layered it with Arabic calligraphy inspired by the timeless spirit of Al Hermel, and created a keepsake that lets a piece of home live wherever you do.
