The story behind this print
Mays Al Jabal
Mays Al Jabal rests along the Palestinian Lebanese border, a town once known for its sweeping hills, olive trees, stone homes, and the quiet beauty of the South. It was a place where land and people belonged to one another, where mornings carried the scent of earth and family life moved with dignity and warmth. Much of what once stood has been devastated through war and Israeli occupation, leaving only fragments of the homes and landmarks many remember. This piece preserves the Mays Al Jabal that lives beyond destruction, the village of memory, resilience, and beauty that no force could erase.
