The story behind this print
Tebneen
Tebneen rises from the hills of the South with a quiet strength that can be felt before it is spoken. This art print was created in rich green and sage tones to honor the forests, olive groves, and open landscape that surround the city with life. Standing above it is the historic castle of Qal'at Tebneen, a landmark that has witnessed centuries of movement, courage, and changing times while remaining rooted in place. The sleek modern calligraphy was designed to flow like the branches of the zaytoon that cover the land, connecting heritage to the present. Tebneen has long felt like a welcoming gate to the border towns, and this piece preserves that feeling of arrival, dignity, and home.
