The story behind this print
Beirut · Gemmayzeh
It was a warm May afternoon in Jemmayzeh, when the streets felt alive with blooming flowers and old-Beirut charm. I walked slowly up the hill beneath the shade of a climbing tree, and at the very end of the road, I found it, a blue heritage home standing quietly among the city’s noise. I return to places like this because Jemmayzeh reminds you that beauty survives. The arches, the open shutters, the balconies reaching into the light, all of it feels like Beirut refusing to forget itself. This piece holds that feeling, the kind of memory you hang on a wall so home can keep finding you.
